We’re just each other’s teachers in this moment and time.

I don’t know what I am teaching you.

You don’t know what you are teaching me.

I can try to see the lesson in you.

You can try to see the lesson in me.

But what holds true no matter what

is that it’s there, somewhere.

You are my lesson,

my learning,

my path,

my here and now.

You are what brings me to my next chapter.

Helps me turn that page.

You are what brings me,

to me.

Not because you are

you,

but because

I choose to see you.

And because all you’re showing me,

is me.
